The windows were well insulated so there was virtually no noise from the street below. Brigette on the front desk was very friendly and gave us loads of info and assistance. It is very close to the r - Very good location. Minutes from Gare Train Station. Minutes to the main street with shopping area. Staff was English-speaking, really trying to help with directions. Hotel does not take checks, but cash works just fine :) Very clean, towels changed every day, bed was made also very day (lest admit, it does not happen every time at hotels). You have to pay on arrival. Breakfast available, but for 6 euros per person.

The staff communicated in better English than I've ever experienced in a French hotel that hasn't been part of a major chain, and were happy to help with questions and with calling taxis, etc. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. The wifi worked well. We enjoyed our stay there, and would consider going back.

Location was literally 2 minutes walk to train station. There is no elevator, so getting up narrow stairway with a heavy bag could be difficult for some. We would definitely stay there again.
