We stayed for 2 nights after doing Sail Croatia for 7 days. The owners were very friendly offering to pick us up from the port, offering a drink on arrival and, noticing that we had been travelling, provided a washing basin so we could clean some clothes. What a wonderful place made even more enjoyable by the warmth and friendliness of Velco & Katica. Velco collected us from the bus station and had no problems with an early check-in. We travelled with friends and booked the two bedroom/two bathroom unit on the top floor which has its own private patio with the most amazing views over the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea and the Pakleni Islands. We stayed in the apartment - room 1. For the moment we arrived we were taken care of. We were given ice creams,coffee and nothing was any hassle. We even borrowed a beach umbrella. As a family we have travelled alot and I can honestly say the service provided by this team is 5star - exceptional. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would most definitely return. Some people have mentioned the bells but really, any where in Croatia you hear the bells at sometime! Didn't stop

Friendly owners, very helpful, who made us feel at home. Neat rooms as shown in the pictures. Very nice view from the terrace! Location is perfect, 5min from the supermarket and 10min from the beach. I would strongly recommend this accomodation to other people!

The owner and his family are very nice. The apartment was nicely furnished (stereo, DVD player, DVD's, knick-knacks from around the world). The owner left 2 beers, a bottle of orange juice, and a bottle of water in the refigerator and informed me that they were for me- I thought this was a nice touch. I had problems finding the apartment, and the owner came to meet me. The location is good- about a 7-10 minute walk to the old city section (Diocletian's Palace) of Split.

Tatjana is very sweet; she drove me to the bus station when I left and offered me breakfast in her apartment one day. She would have picked me up when I arrived at the ferry but we didn't connect then. Bit of a walk from the ferry terminal with luggage but ask her to pick you up and she will. I didn't have a mobile phone with me, later used Skype.

The accommodation was great. The room was clean, had a nice balcony and a fully functioning air conditioning. We stayed on the second floor where the wifi signal and speed were good. The nearest (very clean) pebble beach was a 10 min walk from the apartment (take the road between the hotel Supetrus buildings). The town is a 15 minute walk.
The villa is indeed located next to a steep road with no pavements but there is an alternative route to town.

The hotel was facing the harbour with beautiful views of sailing boats from the room window.
The hotel is just across the bridge from the mainland and prices are significantly cheaper for food & drink, yet you get to the centre in 5 minute walk.
Parking was a squeeze but they accommodated us so that was a bonus.
