Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room. It allows me to do some work while the kids are watching a movie. The management really pays attention to the details which made our stay extremely comfortable. -

I am a true fan of the Opposite House. I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar. The staff do their best to make you feel good. They are always smiling and they spare no effort to serve well. Most of them we meet speak English and those who don't will try their best. The rooms were amazing spacious and with a very tasteful decoration. The charges were fare.

It's clean, the room is spacious, the staff are helpful (although they had a hard time speaking in English which seems to be the norm in Beijing).
The location (depending on your fitness, it's around 20-30 mins walk to Forbidden City and about 5-10 mins walk to Qianmen St. Market and I guess, 10-20 mins to the Temple of Heaven)
