  The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email... was die leute sagen » s as I would like to stay again if I could afford it. - The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. The freshly baked cookies, the coffee/tea, the fruit readily available gave the lodge feel very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean, I - The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Relaxing in the large, supremely comfortable lounge looking out on the beautiful scene ( as the rain poured down!) with endless supplies of coffee or tea was a real treat and a memorable one. Freshly baked cookies in the evening were a nice touch too. The breakfasts were very good and free wi- fi was welcome.   The views! Awesome view of the ocean and the surfers trying to catch the right wave. Huge room with balcony seemed so private and quiet in this fairly busy place. Bathroom behind slats from bedroom, but could see the view from the bath too! I'm sure the first room would have been fine though. Could walk for miles from the beach entrance...just lovely. - Staff: warm, friendly, helpful, engaging...couldn't ask for better. Food in hotel restaurant: amazing! Menu is unique, tantalizing, creative...truly a gourmet delight. The breakfast is perfect! Accommodations: impeccable, clean, quiet, comfortable, luxurious...and we could leave the windows open for fresh sea breeze. Location: remote enough to be unspoiled, close to marvellous trails and beaches.

  LOVED the beach: wide at low tide and beautiful walking. It's a surfer's destination and they were out in March in wetsuits!! Fun to watch. I want to go back and try it in the summer. Resort is clean, well designed, modern, efficient, comfortable...it was great. I"d travel back across the continent again just to stay here.   We found a long series of lovely details and atmosphere, which made our stay.... "unforgettable". The restaurant's cuisine is exquisite, with a lovely atmosphere and a gorgeous sea view. Our dog is important for us.
