Food was innovative, tasty and attractively presented. Excellent live music in foyer. Convenient location - good for shops, museums and walking along the river bank - green surroundings in minutes.   We had a great stay, and were even upgraded for the two nights we were there, to the newer side - which had a great balcony right across the road from the bay, nice big room, really pleasant stay. The hotel is a hotspot in town, and the restaurant is very nice, right on the water (as is the hotel). The staff helped us make plans for tours, etc., a... was die leute sagen » nd we bothered them quite a bit :) but they were all very friendly! - We were given one of the newly redecorated rooms in the old part of the hotel and it was lovely. A beautiful view from the verandah and all the furnishings fresh and comfortable. With breakfast included we got a really good deal.

  I loved everything about this place, the customer service was above and beyond. I woke up reception at 5 o'clock in the morning. Even though check in, is at 2. It cost me 15 dollars extra. But, I was checking in 9 hours early and woke up someone as well, it was worth it.   During our first stay we stayed in an apartment on the 6th floor which was quiet even though it faced the main street and had it had a great layout with all the required amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very friendly staff especially the Reception staff Creina, Lucy and Taylor. Although in the centre of Adelaide the Hotel was quiet. Would certainly stay there again if we were in Adelaide. We were with another couple who also liked the hotel. Also has Andre's Cucina & Polenta Bar in the building - fantastic!

This is the first time we stayed undergroundin the Summer (44 degrees) and the room was too hot to sleep ( higher than the advertised 23-25 degrees. A top hotel with great staff and very good food. The Manager also prepared the best breakfast the next mornin - This motel was very clean and pleasant-feeling. Andrew, behind the front desk, was very courteous and pleasant to work with. After staying in a few "budget" motels during our drive around Australia, motels that left a lot to desire, this motel stood out as one I actually remember favorably. I would happily stay here again.
