We were given one of the newly redecorated rooms in the old part of the hotel and it was lovely. A beautiful view from the verandah and all the furnishings fresh and comfortable. With breakfast included we got a really good deal.

I loved everything about this place, the customer service was above and beyond. I woke up reception at 5 o'clock in the morning. Even though check in, is at 2. It cost me 15 dollars extra. Our stay was overnight but was extremely happy with our room. Very comfortable. Easy access to the bistro where we had a lovely dinner. A few drinks a game in the gaming room. Overall excellent and will stay again if we are passing through and will recommend to all

During our first stay we stayed in an apartment on the 6th floor which was quiet even though it faced the main street and had it had a great layout with all the required amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Location in Adelaide, walking distance of Budget rental cars! Very friendly staff especially the Reception staff Creina, Lucy and Taylor. Although in the centre of Adelaide the Hotel was quiet. Would certainly stay there again if we were in Adelaide. We were with another couple who also liked the hotel. Also has Andre's Cucina & Polenta Bar in the building - fantastic!

We appreciated the calm of the backpack'. It's clean everywere and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the big common area, with big tables, comfortables sofas, billard and TV with DVD.
One of the best point : the free barbecue on every wednesday evening !

Accommodation comfortable and constant atmosphere underground. Restaurant served very nice meals and good service. Bookings.com had a good deal for us.

The food! New chef was brilliant, large room with comfy bed and a small balcony facing the sea which I did not expect, the staff arranged trips, transport & nothing was too much bother for them, I chose this hotel to relax & chillout & that's exactly what I did here. -

Martin was extremely friendly showed us all the points of interest locally and the places to dine out / takeaway meals. Once shown to our room he explained all there was to know about operating the heater, spa and tv / dvd player. The free Wi-Fi internet and free dvd selection from the front office was a bonus. All up a very pleasant experience. C
