  I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to. I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased.   The staff were fantastic, especially those at breakfast. I didn't catch the girls name who was there both mornings yet she was helpful, polite and accommodating. Not sure of her name unfortunately yet I intend ringing them and passing on the feedback once I am back home and passing it on. Clean, tidy, lovely pool and very relaxing place to stay. Make sure you request beachfront as this was best in our view but equally you could overlook the pool and gardens

  We booked 1 night here to get a break from driving 2000km in our campervan, and ended up wishing we booked longer! Nice spacious, clean apartment, with good beds and all amenities. Very friendly staff, who provided us with free wifi passes. Beautiful apartment complex, with great parking options and also an excellent restaurant! Facilities in accommodation quite adequate. We both enjoyed our stay.

  From the moment we arrived we felt at home, Lea explained what the facilities at Pioneer Sands were and made us very welcome. The room was wonderful, spotless, and very well set out. Our balcony was very cosy and we enjoyed a lovely view. The location was just perfect, and in minutes in any direction we were where we wanted to be. Pioneer Sands will be my first choice from now on. - It was very modern and spacious, with a good little kitchen for the time I spent there. I was able to make pancakes for me and my boyfriend without any problems. Having a DVD player was great, so we didn't have to bother with a laptop to watch movies on. I also liked how it was quite eco-friendly, and we were able to refuse room service so that we didn't waste time or water on having the sheets washed unnecessarily.

  Great location; very friendly staff; everything at hand, including restaurant; spacious unit and ability to stay with our two dogs. We will definitely stop off again on our way home from one of trips further north. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious.
