I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to.
I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased. Thank you. -

Peaceful setene environment. Lovely environment. Lots of birds. Close to many restaurants. A beautiful place to walk around, have a swim in lake or sea. Always enjoy our yearly stay at the Lakeside. -

The staff were fantastic, especially those at breakfast. I didn't catch the girls name who was there both mornings yet she was helpful, polite and accommodating. Not sure of her name unfortunately yet I intend ringing them and passing on the feedback once I am back home and passing it on. I would appreciate it if you did as well. -

Nice modern linen even though old fashioned (yet well appointed) rooms. Warm on freezing night, good TV. It was great to have breakfast as part of package (in dining room) and late check out (10am). Friendly staff and good service was much appreciated. Better than 2 other motels stayed at along the same street! Thank you -

First impression, Reception, very courteous, friendly, warm welcome, very hospitable.
Restaurant, staff as per Reception. Service exceptional. Meals, dinner each night, excellent. Breakfast, very good motel buffet breakfast.
Accommodation, very well presented. Clean and fresh. Facilities in accommodation quite adequate.
We both enjoyed our stay.

Staff very helpful, comfortable bed, balcony... everything you need for a one-night escape from the son's 20th Birthday Party in Toormina!
We'll certainly keep the Sanctuary in mind if we ever want to escape again, but don't want to travel too far...lol -

From the moment we arrived we felt at home, Lea explained what the facilities at Pioneer Sands were and made us very welcome. The room was wonderful, spotless, and very well set out. It was very modern and spacious, with a good little kitchen for the time I spent there. I was able to make pancakes for me and my boyfriend without any problems. Having a DVD player was great, so we didn't have to bother with a laptop to watch movies on. I also liked how it was quite eco-friendly, and we were able to refuse room service so that we didn't waste time or water on having the sheets washed unnecessarily.

Fantastic place. I was most impressed. We stayed in the Penthouse and
they had many things I did not expect such as picnic sets, games for the
kids, dvds, books, just so many things that you don't think to bring
but made our stay so much more enjoyable. The location and view was
