All the features of the motel, from furnishings to the site we stayed in and the excellent staff. I will be recommending The Grand Mercure Hills Lodge to everyone I know who are planning to stay in Sydney and I intend to make it one of my first stops next time I visit Sydney. We really enjoyed having a room that was peaceful and well cared for. We enjoyed the clean environment and the ability to walk to any shops without having to use transport. We loved the warm pool and the various services offered (pool service, breakfast, clean towels). The staff were professional (could be a little more friendly).

We booked last minute while traveling down the coast. The location is sensational and the view from our room was really great. We were travelling with our 2 year old son and a cot was made available to us without any problems. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. Dinner in the Restaurant was also very good. Lamington national Park is a beatiful place and while we only could see little in the 2 days we had we were quite amazed by the area.

The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel!
Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door.
Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)! -
One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays.
