  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw... was die leute sagen » ay from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  My adult daughter & I Were attending a workshop at Bardon. The accomodation was very clean & cost was good for us& even though it was close toYHA & Backpackers acc, it was not Noisy. - Its an old 1877 cottage what you would expect.   This is such a gorgeous cosy house! Brilliant location ten mins from the south bank. Everyone that stayed there the same time as us were all really friendly. No late noise or traffic noise. The house is lovely and our room (10) was brill, very cute almost like staying at your nans house, lovely extras as well such as free Internet. We checked in very late at night but the managers were very thoughtful and made sure we had no trouble getting in. The location is excellent. We also used the free bikes and went on a very nice early morning bike ride. Very happy with our stay.

  Great value, and brilliant location. Certainly not the 6 star. Not 4 star. Not flash.. Budget accommodation.. but I was after somewhere to stay for 6 days while I attended a course. I needed a clean bed & room, a fridge, a microwave, running water... Got all that, plus hired a rental car for a lot less than others who were staying in motels wi... was die leute sagen » thout transport or shops close by. And I had supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and the city next to me. And the hosts were genuinely friendly and happy - The staff were very friendly, the beautiful old Queenslander building was in a great spot to easily travel to the city centre, it's a nice stroll down to the Brisbane river to catch the river cat, the local bus stops right outside the front gate, local shopping and dinning was close also, there is a very neat little cafe' across the street, we only had coffee but the food looked amazing, we would stay here again...
