  Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone, - Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue - the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location very close to the city. Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay.

Excellent value for money and easy parking outside unit. Staff was very friendly courteous and ensured our stay was comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back - The view and position right on the river. Our room had a window overlooking the river and it was such a beautiful view, and a lift for the luggage carting. The room was very comfortable, with a toaster, microwave,crockery and cutlery for breakfast; a great idea. Bring your own cereal, fruit and a loaf of bread with some butter and you have a healthy breakfast, with the local papers available, one can relax and gaze over the activity on the river while eating breakfast.

  The rooms were huge and the staff were fantastic. It was equipped with a fridge, a toaster, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses as well as a mini bar. The location is handy to lots of restaurants as well as being across the road from Coles for groceries if you want to eat breakfast in your room.   Excellent & friendly staff, very good location, great view of the harbour from Mt Stewart position. Good restaurant, not overpriced & very good selection on menu. - We were made to feel right at home as from the minute we checked in, the staff were really lovely, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back .
