  Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone, - Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue - the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location very close to the city. Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay.

  Excellent accommodation for family of 5 with 3 double beds, full kitchen, TV in each room, good laundry, excellent views of the Bay with walkout balcony. Excellent value for money and easy parking outside unit. Staff was very friendly courteous and ensured our stay was comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back - The view and position right on the river. Our room had a window overlooking the river and it was such a beautiful view, and a lift for the luggage carting. The room was very comfortable, with a toaster, microwave,crockery and cutlery for breakfast; a great idea. Bring your own cereal, fruit and a loaf of bread with some butter and you have a healthy breakfast, with the local papers available, one can relax and gaze over the activity on the river while eating breakfast.

  Very close to city. Even closer to Botanical Gardens. Very cheap. Parking at the motel with extra security door from outside. Our room had a kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave. There was also access to a kitchen if you wanted to do more serious cooking. The room had a fan and a heater.   The rooms were huge and the staff were fantastic. It was equipped with a fridge, a toaster, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses as well as a mini bar. The location is handy to lots of restaurants as well as being across the road from Coles for groceries if you want to eat breakfast in your room. There is also a laundry (free to use) - From the time we arrived at the hotel /reception on the 15 April 2013 was met by the staff who was courteous and greeted us with a warm welcome , gave us information on the property and surrounds with wifi password and advised this was at no cost. The housekeeping was simply excellent with the room cleaned everyday and linen renewed as well. Service on check in was excellent with advice about delivery of meals from external restaurant welcome as we didn't wish to go out. The place was good value for money. - Situated in the midway of thr slope, it js close to city center and yet won't be noisy. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed staying in here. There was a funny cute fat cat accompanying us when we check out. The cat didn't let us walk ahead of it, so funny.

  Excellent & friendly staff, very good location, great view of the harbour from Mt Stewart position. Good restaurant, not overpriced & very good selection on menu. - We were made to feel right at home as from the minute we checked in, the staff were really lovely, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back .
