  Convenient location. Clean, roomy and comfortable accommodation. Good parking (very important), quiet room. Good "pull-in" driveway for being picked up by family or taxi.   Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel... was die leute sagen » lent value! - I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw... was die leute sagen » ay from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

We stayed in a one bedroom which was only a few dollars more than the studio but with much more space. Staff were friendly and helpful and we could recommend mint for longer stays whether business or holidays.

  Room was good size and bathroom nice and clean. It was quiet and handy to where we wanted to go. Magazines to read were a nice touch. Breakfasts were well priced. The location is superb for travellers with out a vehicle as it is so close to Central Train Station, the CBD, South Bank and bus departure stations. The apartment key & room allocated was well arranged and easy to access & directly to our room. On the following day, we realized one of the male staff is really helpful when we asked for an extra bed and the bed was there after we returned to the room. In general, the apartment is really well managed.
