Near to the main city centre, just a few stops away on the train line. Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  Loved the friendliness of the staff; that almost everyone spoke English, Sebastian and Adrian were terriffic at the concierge desk/function. The breakfast ( brunches) were very good. Our one evening meal there was fantastic--- if beyond our normal means--- we travel on "stand- by" so that's why we could afford to indulge ourselves at your hotel. I... was die leute sagen » t was great that we could just lounge in the garden after we had checked out before we had to leave for airport. - The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. After one night I asked to be moved to a quieter room as I am a very light sleeper and the noise from the road was bad. I was moved without any problem. The facilities are excellent and the neighbourhood is safe and interesting to walk around. Lots of restaurants close by and the "hop on hop off" tourist bus passes close by. The concierge arranged for us to see a Tango show which was excellent. Will go back.
