  We were just several blocks from downtown, on the city bus route. City bus fares are excellent in San Antonio for seniors. It was also just 4 blocks from the Amtack station. The neighborhood is on a fringe area but we (2 men) felt safe.   I liked the large bathroom mirrors. The locations was convenient and we had an inside room away from the traffic noise. The service was good. The bed was comfortable. It was clean. There was plenty of space. I liked the color theme. We were given a discount when checking out since we did have some problems.   We loved the staff. Their personalities and there willingness to go out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much for them no matter what you needed or asked. I cant say enough of wonderful things about this people. Everything was in walking distance of the Riverwalk.   I liked that the bathroom was very clean,also the room.and they were nice enough to offer us a roll away cause messed up our reservation on having 2 queen beds. - That they had breakfast in the morning, and that it was not to far from Sea World. Also it is close to restaurants and Walmart.
