  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina. In the evening the staff would light bonfires on the different terraces.The rooms were bright and spacious with balconies, the bathroom was big and nice and staff was very friendly and accommodating.   We attended the waj Alumni Banquet. This was the first time my sister-in- law had been back to the North Eastern part of the U.S. since moving to Germany over 40 years ago.   Indoor waterpark was great for kids (11 & 6). Be sure to read there website about the waterpark. Great for rainy days. Also the arcade was quite big which also took up some time (and money) for the kids. Downtown Lake George Village was nice for shopping and finding places to eat.   I liked the service and people were very nice. Eric the bellboy was nice and friendly. They welcomed us and opened doors for us. The staff was professional and helpful. I liked bowling with Henry and Racquetball too. - The Staff was friendly, helpful and the facility was clean.

  Very nice place just outside (2 miles) the craziness of the village. We wanted 'quiet' but close enough to enjoy the downtown area. We drove into town but the trolley is available just outside the Colonel Williams. The owners/staff are very attentive and the grounds/rooms are well cared for.   We really like that the apt had a kitchen with everything in there.. People u can bring ur own food to cook !!
