  This was our second stay at the Mauian. The temper-pedic beds are wonderful for those times you aren't at the beach. We loved the upstairs lanai that allowed us to see Napili Bay and have a bit more privacy than the ground-floor units.   Very quaint old place with much charm. Very quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. Great older couple runs the place.   The grounds were really nice, with a beautiful view of the ocean, not good for swimming but very nice stretch of coast. A great deal for the money, very relaxing and laid back.   I loved this place! I am used to air conditioning so I had to adapt to no air. Island breezes helped at night. Great location for activities shopping and food. - The view of the ocean from our window @ Shearwater was fabulous. The rooms were large and comfortable and it easily accomidated our family of 6.
