  Our family enjoyed our stay at La Belle Maison immensely and will stay there again. My husband and I were traveling with our adult daughter, so we chose a studio style suite which had a separate, private, bedroom and a sofa that turned into a bed. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. - A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street.

  Nearly everything!! Superb location which leaves some space between the hotel and the most attraction/most crowded tourist area. Ambience is outstanding. Rooms are just packed with amazing antique furniture and otherinterior pieces. Bathroom is all modern, though,no worries)) and there are Frette bathrobes and linen, mmmm. Last but not least, the staff are all great. - The Soniat House was exactly what I was looking for. It was a wonderful experience and would stay there again. Plus the hot biscuits and jam were amazing.

  First of all, the location is perfect! We were able to park at the French Market a block away for $20/day. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and you could really tell he wanted us to enjoy our stay.   My fiancé and I stayed here for two nights. The location is brilliant and the receptionist that greeted us (forget her name but lots of tattoos) was lovely, very helpful and kind. If only all receptionists were like her! The location is superb, very quiet spot and away from the madness of Bourbon street and Canal stre - Walking distance to Bourbon street but far enough away to not hear noise. We didn't have a car - This is a converted older home in the Garden District, close to the street car line, and has a quiet charm. The rooms are small but adequate and well furnished.   Location could not have been better. Quiet safe street, just a few blocks from everything there is to see in FQ New Orleans. Character of the building made you "feel" like you were in NOLA. This was probably our favorite place for location, budget, cleanliness and privacy.
