Thw location is perfect. We walked uptown, downtown, to the arena for a eric clapton concert. We parked the car and never had to use it. We walked back from Boubon st at 1:30 in the morning it was safe and an easy walk. The hotel was very quiet, and the bed was the most comfortable we had on our ten day trip staying at high end hotels. The staff was much more than courtious, Amy at the front desk checked us in and was very helpful. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job the room sme.
所有评语 » What made this place stand out from the other hotels was the staff. They are very friendly and comply to every request of the guest. I have stayed in many hotels and this hotel by far has the best front desk service. I also like all the amenities that are located in the room which include a refrigerator and a microwave. In my opinion those are essential needs of a traveler. Charming boutique hotel with court yards. We stayed there because we were planning on getting married in the French Quarter. We needed to extend our stay because our wedding ending up scheduled for the next day afternoon. The staff was able to extend our stay with out us having to change rooms. They were also helpful in suggesting places for our wedding & vendors. Loved the staff. Front desk personnal was super friendly and helpful. Location is a ten min walk from everything including going to Bourbon, the museums, a ton of food joints and shopping.. Room was very nice and bed was huge n comfty. I read alot of reviews so I was nervous but for nothing Bc it was great for what we paid for. Will def be going back.. A breakfast of aromatic New Orleans-style coffee and fresh croissants with jam and butter were delivered to our room each morning. We opened the door from our room to the courtyard, where we would sit and enjoy our breakfast in a flower-filled courtyard with lovely palm trees offering shade. Idyllic! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!. I have to say, I have done a lot of traveling and the bed/pillows/linens were so wonderfully comfortable, one of the best night of sleep i've had on vacation! Staff was very courteous, called cabs for me, always greeted me and were incredibly pleasant. Ashley and amy were professional and attentive and just wonderful! Valets were very nice!. The location was excellent, a couple streets from the French Quarter. Close enough to walk even at night, but without all the noise and rowdy revellers. Good value for money as under going change of management and keeping rates reasonable till the up to standard. Night concierge very helpful with our issues and local information. We loved the charming quality of the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean. The location of the hotel was perfect, withing walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed our stayed tremendously and would definitely stay there again the next time we are in New Orleans. We arrived on a cold, rainy, New Orleans evening .. the staff was welcoming, warm and very helpful. The recommended, attatched resturant "The ChopHouse" was EXCELLENT. At the Hotel our sleep was pleasant and service and cost was EXCELLANT also esp Ms Amy SML & LCA Nov 26,2013 SML & LCA. Tori and James were incredible!!!!The entire staff was extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. There was another girl with dark hair during the day that gave us wonderful instructions to get around. Close to everything. safe area to walk in. Good price for the stay. I will go back there. So fantastic girls in the reception. They are the very best, we have experienced ever. With humor and very helpful and always with a wonderful compliment. A special thanks to Christina, who gave us a very great experience in your church,something we will always remember.Thank you Christina. The location is great! It is a short walking distance to the wwii Museum, the French Quarter, nice restaurants, and has a great restaurant with a piano bar and a very talented lady who can play and sing the blues or whatever you want to hear. I loved the Staff. I was instantly upgraded because it was my birthday. The rooms were clean and very nice. I shared a private courtyard with two other rooms. It was a wonderful stay. They even bring your breakfast on a silver tray. We like everything about your hotel, especially its convenient location without being directly in the Quarter. It's our second stay and now that we have found you we will only stay there. Our son lives in NOLA so we come fairly. The staff was extremely friendly and professional, especially Danielle at the front desk. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Old but with lots of updates. It gave the feeling of New Orleans which we loved. We did not want to be in a hotel that could have been anywhere. The location was great, a short walk frmo all the action but far enough away to not have to deal with the craziness of Bourbon St all the time. It was walking distance to the French Quarters, yet in a more quiet part of town. The staff was friendly and efficient. We look forward to a return visit soon. Location is very good. The staff in the hotel are so sweet. I checked in at midnight and found out I couldn't open my locker. The madam at front desk and the security guy helped me out. I really appreciate it. The atmosphere, it's quaint, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. the location to the french quarter was great the rooms were excellent. Attractive rooms, comfortable bed, price, location, friendly staff. Nothing. The only thing I did not like was the shower tub. It felt a little outdated and had mold growing. Other than that everything was great!. Everything was great!. Only thing that was a setback was the ac. We had it at 60° basically and it was super hot which woke us up a few times.. if would have stated more then one night and been in our room more I would have had us switched. Def will go back tho. The only parking at the hotel was valet, and pricey. Next time, we'll take a cab from the airport to the hotel. Once at the hotel, it was close enough to everything that we walked to our various destinations anyway. Took a will to have car brought around. We had to ask for linen to be Changed when we arrived as looked like from previous people. This was done promptly and they were very apologetic. But toilet blocked and bathroom door handle fell off as well... There really isn't a pool. A very cute area, but not a pool. Due to street repair parking locating the Hotel and evening parking was uck ... did NOT take away from our total experience. SML & LCA Nov 26, 2013. I think more vending machines are needed. The only one we found was on the 2nd floor in the building next to our building. It was nice that fresh coffee was available every morning, but maybe could offer a small continental breakfast as well. Also, the website stated that the hotel had complimentary airport shuttle, when in fact it didn't. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Housekeeping was adequate-seemed to need a little prompting. N/A. all is good. Not a thing. Parking, parking, parking!!! Expensive and unexpected expense that ruined the trip. Everywhere we went it was an issue with the expensive parking. An we even received a ticket during our stay. I hated the expensive parking!. The room view facing a construction site, not a good value for the money. No gift shop for incidentals and snacks, no breakfast available in hotel. Alley was very noisy in the early morning hours. Hall floors were swept at midnight!. Balconies are closed off. I understand why they closed them but still a little disappointed. Paying double to nearby parking lot to park car with uhaul trailer. But our belongings were kept safe, so we tolerated the expense with grace. There was little for the guest to do at the hotel, no continental breakfast, no exercise room, hotel store or access to a computer. We had problems with all the air conditioners. One. Room had to move to a diffetent room. toilet kept working making noise eventhough you didnt use it room needed brighter lights for a double bed room needed more lighting. Amenities of the hotel in the booking .com listing..said there was on site parking...not..it is off site in a garage.... Said had pool...it was maybe 6x8 foot...and out of order.. Room needed a couple minor repairs...broken toilet seat...security latch did not work correctly on door....dont get me wrong..i really liked the hotel and will definitely stay there again..... I wish they would work on the small details of cleaning the edges of the bathroom. With a little regrouting the place would reach another level. It has charm galore!. Air conditioning worked almost to well, hard to keep room between 70-75 degrees. Vents needed cleaning. Lift was very slow and no stairs up from the lobby. Very noisy alley along one side, kept us up most of one night. The staff was not very helpful (we asked a taxi to the airport that was not ordered, plus some other minor things that showed that the people at the reception were clearly not too interested in helping the customer). No breakfast available. Everything was great. No complaints. A loss of power one morning resulted in a rushed room makeup later in the day, ie: coffee wasn't replenished for use the next morning, toilet wasn't cleaned, etc. Valet parking was very expensive. No one should have to pay 29.95 to have their car parked in a lot. House keeping wasn't thorough. Broken iron & safe box. n/a. nothing negative at all. There was nothing we didn't like!. The size of the pool, but I wasn't there to swim so that's ok. Parking is a problem & staff could be alittle friendler. no breakfast option, front exterior looks a bit rundown but interior is very attractive.
