This hotel is boutique style, which we always prefer, with an upscale, elegant mixture of traditional and modern decor, and not corporate or pretentious or stuffy at all. The lobby is grand, gorgeous and welcoming, soft and dimly lit for a trendy, romantic, yet professional feel. Their front desk staff were always available and very friendly and helpful as needed. The rooms are both elegant and very comfortable and just the right size, decorated with a mixture of period pieces, old jazz photogr.
所有评语 » Excellent front desk staff member Jason really made my stay a good one. The special touch of a collection of my favourite snacks for my second stay there value-added to the whole experience. The location was excellent and safe for getting to and from the french quarters and the convention centre. The cafe red gravy down the road was a fantastic place for breakfast each morning!. Excellent front office staff with great tips on where to go shop/eat/enjoy nola. I called to reschedule my airport transfer and was not made to feel like a nuisance at all. The hotel smelt really fresh on arrival and there was blues playing everywhere. Really great location to enjoy the jazz festival and explore the riverside area. In New Orleans for Mardi Gras 2013 and this was a great location! Only one block from parade routes. Every member of the staff, from the front door to housekeeping, were quite friendly and accommodating. Decor and atmosphere were very elegant but without the "stuffed shirt" feeling. Will definately stay again when in NOLA!!. Everything. A perfect location, an easy walk to the French quarter, garden district, the waterfront. The best place to have a quiet cocktail in a gorgeous setting. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would love to visit NOLA again and would definitely want to stay at the International House again. Staff is great, bar (Isa?) is good but opens too late (4pm). Building -wide WiFi and lobby iMac are real nice, lobby smells clean and has good ambiance. Location is about the best for access uptown and into the Quarter. The atmosphere of the hotel. Lobby was too dark for my liking!. For a small hotel bar, prices a bit high. No restaurant, so no room service. Apparently they are looking for a new operator, but that did us no good. Having to walk a few blocks to get some breakfast everyday was a hassel and inconvenient. Lobby coffee pot was often empty. And the bar opens at 4, which is kind of late to me... - No breakfast, but Starbucks around the corner. Nothing. Leaky tub faucet Runny toilet No food service in bar/rooms. Staff at front desk could be more welcoming. The money but the best is not free. Top floor, had roof access in my room and extremely noisy at times. No restaurant for breakfast. I came in 2/12 and the parade blocked access to hotel for 3.5 hours (after 6 PM). Could have used a "heads up". Our first room was musty and smelly until we complained and were moved. No Breakfast! Bathroom is old and badly maintened. Reception not useful.
