The pool was amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and fresh. Great location next to a couple of great restaurants, the beach, the ferry and any fishing trips you're going to charter.

Great location right across from the Block Island Ferry station, very nicely appointed pool area, clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff.
It was very convenient. The Block Island ferry was right across the street and the beach was a short walk away.
Convenience to the Frances Fleet for fishing and to the restaurants. Pool area much improved from last visit.

Bring a car cover if you don't want to stop at the nearest carwash- the seagulls are deadly with their doody. It's not the hotels fault, it's natures, but it was literally covered.
hotel should include 1 free car wash at the end of your stay to help with the the seagulls poop.........
Need to upgrade the interior. While clean, it's seen better days, with scuffed furninture, a musty carpet in the pool area and ice machines in disrepair. Also would have been nice to have a fridge and/or microwave oven in the room. Seagull nesting season - but that's not the inn's fault. A gull's gotta do what a gull's gotta do. :-).
The seagulls, but it is a fishing port so that comes with the territory.
Would not stay again in a room that borders on the pool area..too noisy at nite.

A few 8 legged friends in room . Place seamed very dated . Seagull poop is gross but understandable considering location .
There was a fish processing plant across the street . My car was covered in sea gull droppings.
Sea gull poop all over my car, no free coffee, bed didn't get made or room checked one day.
Hotel old. Too many dirty sea gulls. Not enough electrical outlets. Restaurant not very good Pool area very dingy.
Facility needs to be updated. Has so much potential. Very outdated like something from the 60's or 70's. Rooms were not very clean, could use more vaccuming and dusting. Sometimes the cleaning person didn't get to our room til 5pm! Definitely bring a tarp for your car because of all the seagulls in the parking lot! But that's nature so you have to deal with it.
The restaurant at the Inn served a terrible breakfast buffet. Unless you like your eggs stone cold and your coffee weak, avoid it. No shower curtain.
run down, out of date, food was poor, cost was too high for what it was. not clean.
Room was nasty and uncleaned,bugs, worn out, bird poop and feathers everywhere. Never cleaned and shower and toilet barely worked. Also the lights and electric receptical didn't work either.

The room smelled of mildew. The furniture and lamps were dirty and dusty. The carpet wasn't even vacuumed. The bedspread was old and dirty. This place was by far one of the most disgusting places I ever stayed. Of course, all the seagulls pooping all over everywhere added to the filth. You needed an umbrella when going outside due to all seagulls flying around. Would never stay here again--it should be closed down by board of health.
