  Was a great hotel to stay at. Was over looking the back of hotel and was spaying in a jacuzzi suite, I called n asked to be changed and they did within minutes. Put us overlooking Collins avenue. Top to bottom z ocean was exactly what a young couple needed. Not crazy kids screaming off balconies, it was romantic and relaxing the entire stay. Room spacious, bed & pillows very comfortable. Great staff - particularly the concierge. Late check out not a problem. The location - just a block away from the major strips - is much quieter and less crowded than Ocean or Collins, yet easily accessible to the Deco district, beach, and restaurants. It's a small, simple, comfortable, convenient bou - I was two days in this hotel. It was a very good stayng. You can stay in a very quit zone near the Ocean Drive, with a lot services. Rooms are very confortable and clean. You can have all we found in other 5 star hotel, but in a smaller dimension. I liked very much for particular things, like: drinkings very researched, chocolate on the table, bed very relaxing, cream for body, liquid tooth cleaner,..... If you want to avoid valet parking witch cost 38$ a day there's public self parking right next to the hotel for 1$ an hour from 8am-6pm after that it's free

The James Hotel is owned and run by Sr. Torre and his daughter, and the care and love they have for their property is evident throughout. The staff is wonderful and accommodating - without exception, every staff member was happy and helpful. It was an amazing value. Lots of space in the room, yes the furniture is a bit out of date, but it worked perfectly fine and it was very clean. I will always stay here when I'm in south beach. They are also very flexible with check in and check out times. My flight arrived at 9am and they let me into my room well before the designated check in time.
