  Excellent location - walking distance to shops, restaurants and farmers market at nearby Third Street Promenade, as well as the Santa Monice Pier amusement park and beach boardwalk (with bike rentals nearby).   The connoisseur was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The folks at the front desk and valet parking were also very friendly and helpful. Like any other shangri la around the world, this branch also offers the same quality. Obviously there are many variations on the layout, service and sizes. But that didn't bother us. Also, i used the parking space for shangrila. The service there is brilliant. Althought its a bit expensive than normal parking rates, it keeps your car safe.
