  The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive.   I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were "Disney- friendly" and sincere. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I loved the elegance without being overly "froo- froo:. East side of the French Quarter, one block from Bourbon St. Easy access to the city streetcar system. Busy staff try very hard to service the guests and succeed if you are patient.   This hotel provided exactly what we needed.They had breakfast in the mornings , a friendly staff ,located right outside of the french quarter (and I mean like on the other side of the street)great pet friendly hotel .There is a park that you can bring dogs to a block away and the hotel does not smell bad because of them allowing pets. The people at the front desk were extremely friendly and did everything to make our stay very enjoyable. I would especally like to say thankyou to Betty Evans for being so friendly and answering my many questions and helping find some of the places we wanted to see. I would definetly go back to stay
