The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive. We ate in the bistro the first night we arrived and were pleasantly surprised with the food quality and price. We really liked the location because we were close enough to walk a short distance to Bourbon Street but we were far enough away from all of the loud music and party goers that we could sit peacefully on our balcony and enjoy the sun and fun from a distance.
所有评语 » Charming. Not too big. Clean and comfy for an older French quarter hotel. They upgraded us to a balcony room over looking the courtyard. When the doors were open.... Could hear jazz horns softly playing from the quarter... Perfect. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Loved the balconey off of room overlooking street. Location was great for our scheduled events. I will absolutely stay there again while in Nola!! Fantastic everything! No complaints! Best location. Excellent price. The room was beautiful. The staff was so nice and pleasant. The hotel is located in a wonderful part of town. Best location: easy walking distance to everything but still on a quiet part of the street. I loved the hotel and staff for the most part was really nice!. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of charm. Most comfortable bed I have slept on. Bistro, Location, Staff. location very nice. Would have big nice if ghe fountain was running. Pricey for small room with outdated bathroom. They overcharged me and authorized a lot more than what I expected. The price I received from Booking was 557. I ended up paying 739.40 I could have stayed on Bourbon street or someone where else for that price. Also don't like that all of the prices are triple for Black events. I am not coming back to no anytime soon to stay. They have too many taxes and up-charges hidden. Expensive food. 13$ for Continental breakfast, not worth it. Parking a little pricy at $36 a night. The airconditioning in the room is not able to be changed. I found the room to be extremely hot. The bathrooms were gross!! The carpet and walls were disgusting. The paint was peeling off the wall by the aircodtioner and the room above must have had a leak because the ceiling was falling. They cancelled my reservation without letting me know. They did find rooms but it was not my original accommodations. The rollout bed is not comfortable. THE HOT TUB was not working!!!! The hall carpet on floor 5 was filthy and stained. The bathroom had the toilet paper holder falling off the wall(Rm 555) and mold by tub. Facilities were a bit worn and dated. We didn't like that we paid for two days, we were one day late but still had to wait until lunch time to enter the room we had booked and paid for. Also we are still waiting on our refund of our bond that was promised to be returned within 5 days. Small room. Horrible bathroom. No refrigerator in room!. Rooms were small not worth price. Had to pay $33 extra a night for parking. I have never been in a room this small -- ever. And this was after I asked to moved our of a room that had a window that faced a brick wall 4 feet away. Small room, cheap finishing, front desk staff, no concierge evident. I've paid less in Rome for similar quality a 10 minute walk from the Forum and the Coliseum with breakfast. I paid similar in Paris near the Arch de Triomphe for a far better room in a wonderful boutique hotel with a great concierge and breakfast.
