  Nearly everything!! Superb location which leaves some space between the hotel and the most attraction/most crowded tourist area. Ambience is outstanding. Rooms are just packed with amazing antique furniture and otherinterior pieces. Bathroom is all modern, though,no worries)) and there are Frette bathrobes and linen, mmmm. Last but not least, the staff are all great. - The Soniat House was exactly what I was looking for.   We loved the Dauphine! It is close enough to Bourbon, without the noise and other nonsense. We were given a room across the street from the main hotel and it was absolutely lovely. A calm oasis compared to the madness of the French Quarter. Also if you going to a conference at any of the major hotels, the Dauphine is a quick walk to all.   The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive. Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions. It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would stay there again.

  I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were "Disney- friendly" and sincere. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on.
