The staff was MOST helpful (they turned our radiator off when it got warm in the room and also were smiling and accommodating with another small request we had to freeze ice packs in their kitchen freezer). The quietness. Like a retreat. Great food. - Staff were courteous and efficient. Checked in early but no rooms were available, they said they would call me when I could go to the room. They did. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.

My partner and I spent 3 nights at The Manhattan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with decent bathroom facilities. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance to Times Square and to two separate subway lines which run 24hours. Sights such as MoMa and Rockefeller Plaza are walking distance away.
The room, bed linens and bathroom towels were clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. Rooms were cleaned Dailey and towels refreshed daily a well.
Staff was helpful and friendly. The queen room accommodated my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful- a breath of fresh air. From the time we arrived early to the time we checked out the entire stay was so easy. The staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly, the rooms are amazing and the rooftop bar has the most brilliant views.

We had a terrific view from our Hudson Suite of the Macy's July 4th fireworks; it was the most important factor in our choice on ink48 and we weren't disappointed. The Hudson Suite was well-designed and filled with light - quite different from other Manhattan suites we have stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had stayed there before and enjoyed the traditional atmosphere hugely. I was pleased to see it offered at a tbetter price than other hotels close by.manhattan is nonetheless very expensive - Loved the location, ambience, room!
