  I did not expect much of the hotel, considering previous reviews. But for the price and location, it was excellent. It's tough to find a decent room in a good location for under $100/night in this city! The hotel is situated right on Lombard street, close to the 30 Stockton bus and the 22 Fillmore bus. The staff was also very courteous and help - The staffs here are soooooooo nice. Because of that, I made friends with them. And also they took me around the city. H - The staff are excellent, they always treat me with dignity and respect and the Europa is now my official choice of stay whenever i'm in San Francisco. No outrageous deposits and even booked my airport shuttle without any hassle. My number one recommendation for any budget traveler who wants to stay somewhere in the city that is safe, clean and comfortable.
