My husband and I stayed at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids the night of our wedding and the day after as well. When we checked into our room, we had a bottle of champagne, food and a nice card from the staff waiting for us. The service was superb and exactly what we anticipated. We will definitely stay there again!!!. The rooms were very nice ... and the shower heads in the bathrooms were the BEST EVER! The beds were amazingly comfortable and we thought of trying to buy their pillows. Overall, a very good hotel! And this hotel is in the center of the city and everything is right outside the door.

The staff was wonderful and so pleasant in all situations. A great hotel in a great location with a fantastic staff. I thought it was very modern and well kept. Cleanliness & comfortable furnishings. Excellent facilities and wonderful staff. How close to the venue we needed to be. 616 restaurant has a excellant brunch. great place. I will stay there again. Location. The hotel was very nice. Good location for all activties. The building and the staff. Location, accomodations. Good breakfast. Cleanliness. The Location. Had to pay for parking when we were told it was open all day on Sunday's. Very noisy people in the room close to us. Woke me up at 1am. There was hair in my room service food. The room price was a little high but with the taxes and parking fees ($50.00 extra per night), it really added up. The room was smaller than I would have liked, the lobby was very busy and crowded when we went in and out. For the price, I wish breakfast was included. But there are plenty of good breakfast places in Grand Rapids. Room was small for the price based upon other hotels. Limited offering on room service menu. There was no breakfast. 616 dinner entree was weak. We had 4 guests and were given a room with only one king bed. Our reservation requested two beds and that did not happen. The staff was not very accommodating to our problem. After much arguing with the staff they did offer us another room but we still paid a lot more money than if we could have all shared a room. Mistakes were made on the bills which I had to have them correct. Restaurant was too expensive. The photo above the bed in our room. Bed requests did not translate between letsbookhotel.com and hotel. Nothing comes to mind. Stay to short!. There was nothing I didnt like. An illiterate staff. On the arrival blocked the entire amount of $ - 1400, three days $ 600 more, then another $ 300. Cost of living $ 1100. No one could explain who is blocking the amount on the map and why. Found in the last day, promised to return. Travelers on a budget, better avoid this hotel. In this city, in this 4 * hotel, restaurant dish "ONLY $ 129"-just funny :) :) :).
