I was looking for a hotel last minute in Glenwood Springs. Most places were $120/night after taxes. This cute place was only $70/night after taxes. This place was on the south end of town but only minutes from the hot springs and all of the restaurants. We were also going to Aspen and Maroon Bells for a day trip so we liked being in that location south of tow. We had a late checkin around 10:30pm and the lady owner was very nice. I loved that we were able to just park right in front of our room.
所有评语 » Our hostess/manager was delightful. The room was very clean, and looked to be recently updated with new tile in the closet/bathroom area. There is a fully functional and slightly loud air conditioner in the room, along with a small refridgerator and microwave - very cconvenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the rate I paid I got just a little more than I expected. While you aren't in the heart of Glenwood you are just a mile or two down the road from it and I would stay there again. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They had a room with 3 queen beds which was perfect when traveling with older children. Our room was very clean and neat. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, delicious breakfast, very nice owners, good base for hiking/skiing/relax. We really liked our stay. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was terrific. Location was great, staff was great, breakfast was decent, room was huge and nice. For me it was ok. Just needed a bed and a small breakfast. The owner was delightful. Very clean. Great staff. Good service. I had a room with a king size bed and thought that on the internet it said I was suppose to get a refrigerator. My room had no refrigerator, but the owner of the motel went ahead and brought me in a refrigerator for my room. The inn keeper was friendly and went out of his way to help me get into a room a bit early. This made my day. The room was clean and good for the price. It was a bed with walls and a shower and free cereal and bagels. Nice man at the front desk. No problems. Small and friendly motel, no frills, good for overnight stop which is what we used it for. I liked that it had a large room with 3 queen beds. The desk staff was very courteous. Price and location to ski country. Rooms are dated however they are clean. Easy check in/check out process. location and surrounding area. King size bed was comfy. Size of our room. Very clean. Value. Roomy. Had a problem with the tv and manager came immediately to fix it. Friendly owners. A bit pricey for the overall package. The hot tub appeared to be functioning but looked a little sketchy. Was a total of $120.00 for a single night. Seemed a bit high... Air conditioner wasn't very effective and was loud. But. Just trivial things but there was no coffee pot, and could have a few more pillows. Wifi was a little bit poor. No towels or towel rack by basin. Tub had many chips. Toilet always looked dirty. Only one shampoo for two days. having to leave back home. Ice machine broken. The rooms could use some updating: pictures on the wall and new carpet. A little bit dated and the room was small. Noise by the road. My room was more expensive when the tax was added on. The breakfast was very simple. There was a bit of road noise. No ceiling, and it rained. The room leaks, bad. Lucky for me it was over the desk/TV stand and not the bed. Otherwise everything was in order. No facilities for making a hot drink and none provided (just with breakfast). No fridge. No outdoor space on a hot afternoon. It was outdated and off the main thoroughfare. Hot tub had no water...therefore no real HOT TUB and internet was slow...I could only receive one email at night and had to resend in the morning which was sent successfully. No late check-ins, staff not very friendly. Too old. This a motel. Continental breakfast was picked over so get there early. You are not within close walking distance to downtown Glenwood. the room was not cleaned until after 3:00pm. Not Internet connection in my room, motel doesn't have breakfast. Rooms were clean but dated. Mattress were Too old. Continental breakfast was pathetic. No hot tub as advertized. No fridge or microwave in room. Walls are thin and neighbors were noisy. I called before booking this room and asked if there were mini frigs on the room and was told there were. There was not anything in the room except towels. No coffee, nothing you would expect. This is a bare bones room. Got there, restroom had pubic hair on the toliet, place smelled terrible, had no maid service, had to ask daily for towels, had to take our own trash out, etc... the man that ran the facitlity was nothing short of a robot, no personality what so ever, wont be returning here!!.
