  Our upstairs room at end of walkway was a good position.. Room was clean and comfortable with fridge and coffee maker. Sitting area was good too. Easy walking distance to gondola and fantastic views over Lake Tahoe. Shopping and restaurants all close by.   On the first night we did not get much rest due to a party in the adjoining room that lasted until 4am. The hotel refunded our money for that night. I reserved a non smoking room anf on the second night I and my friend awoke to what appeared to be second hand cigarette smoke in our room. They were so patient and attentive to the children that ordered. Great staff from gift shop to the Conceirge. We stayed over Thanksgiving and was recommended some wonderful resturants.   Kitchen was great! There is a FREE GE Profile washer and dryer on each floor. They also have laundry detergent in your room. They do not have cribs only pack n plays. Bring your own sheet or ask for a small one from housekeeping.   Room was clean and stuff is really friendly and helpful. Room was equipped with all sorts of personal items like shampoos, lotions, deodorants etc. We were allowed to make late check out and that helped a lot since we came in late. So this is a nice family operated hotel. I would definitely stay here again. It's of course a hostel place so not the highest standard available, but it's well worth the price and it's conveniently located close to both the sea and the state border.

  Paradice lives up to it's punchline. This was our second stay at the "Truly Exceptional Lodging"! This is a small but very conveniently located motel, about a 150 feet from all the action at Heavenly. The motel is clean, very well appointed for a motel and stacked with goodies and surprises all over. But the most exceptional part was the host, Cathy herself. - The owner really cares about her visitors. She puts herself out to help them. She thinks of little details which show her dedication - things like fruit in the room or a little gift bag when you leave. The place is spotless and very near a nice private beach to which you will have access. There are plenty of parking facilities. There are some wonderful things to see at Lake Tahoe and the staff will point them out to you. Highly recommended.
