We have family who live in Newport, Corona del Mar, and San Clemente. We visit often. We feel like your hotel is a home away from home. We will always choose your hotel when we visit. I responded with excellent because we feel welcome and comfortable there. Francesca and the breakfast is another plus and we appreciate that perk. I hope that you will reward her with a generous salary because she works hard and she remembers many of your guests and is warm and friendly. The breakfast is awesome!.
所有评语 » It was comfortable, staff were efficient and the location suited me. I paerticularly appreciated Francesc's home cooking after long days at a Trade Fair - she was also welcoming and friendly - after being with thousands of people all day it was great (and convenient). I did like both Best Western hotels we stayed in. In Newport Mesa it was a little different from the one near the John Wayne airport but both were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Nothing negative to mention. Great coffee. It has been remodeled in the last few years, and is really nice. I have stayed there off and on since about 1990. It is better than ever. Friendly, safe and accommodating. Had a nice breakfast room. It was older, yet very accommodating and quiet. Fantastic stay, I would stay here again at that price (110 USD, vs 150 USD at comparable hotels). Noise from the next room was heard clearly. Too Close to the highway, disturbed by traffic. breakfast was poor and not fitting the rest of the stay. The furnishings and colour scheme is poor. Breakfast is below standard especially the presentation. i felt the price was a little high. Parking. Limited breakfast options. no wifi in the room. Mattress was too hard. Small bathroom. Ice machine right outside the room #113 was very noisy every morning between 6-8:00am. Very annoying. People should not be able to fill coolers or the machine needs to be moved. Workout room was disappointing. too small. Parking was bad and our car got scratched because the spaces are so tight. Thought the price was a little steep because of these things. Breakfast is a little variation. Next to highway, quite noisy. Breakfast was awful. View out the window - old rusty pieces of steel, weeds and a wall. Walls are thin. Can hear everything next door. Furnishings very old and dark. Location is right on highway and not appealing to walk around. Sadly, the hotel was in need of much needed renovation. Wallpapers were peeling off of the walls inside the room as well as out in the hallways. The hotel didn't live up to the advertisement in your website. Very disappointing!. Smelled very musky in room. Pictures were 10x better than actual room. The 'gift basket' they mentioned 5 times during check in was Fritos 2 waters and 2 apples. I've stayed in many Best Westerns that were much nicer. I have no idea how this one thinks they're worthy of the extra 'plus.' Would not stay again. Terrible breakfast.
