In summary - clean, well located, quiet and spacious. We arrived very early in the morning (6 am) and they allowed us in the room. Everybody from the staff was very kind. There was food and water in the fridge when we arrived, that was crucial since we were really tired and it was too early that shops weren't actually open. The room is like and 1 bedroom apartment. The hotel was located quite well. Up on a hill over the Olympic stadium with only a 10 minute walk to the main street. Breakfast wasn't huge but it was decent with several options eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc. Wifi was good enough to video chat with so that was nice. I liked that there were water coolers on each floor so I could easily have drinking water.

When I arrived, there was a small mix up with the rooms but the staff were fantastic! They sorted everything out, they were very friendly, they gave me the room I expected which was very nicely decorated and in my view, the location is perfect to see and visit the sights of Kiev. 10 out of 10 to the staff! Good value and location for your money. Hotel is a bit "soviet" but renovated some 10 years ago and looks very acceptable taking in consideration high prices for hotels in center of Kiev.
Try it instead of rental apartments and in most of cases you will be pleasantly surprised.
