  I loved everything about my stay at Sylvern House, The owner was so friendly and helpful from start to end.   We stayed over the August Bank Holiday weekend in a delightful room with a large bay window, two very comfy chairs and the most spectacular view over the North Bay. This well established Guest House has been run by the owners for man - My cousin and I stayed 3 nights at the Wharncliffe and we loved everything we encountered - the proprietors were lovely, and their keenness when it came to security was a plus. Everything had been chosen discerningly from the quality of the sausages and jams to the welcoming sweets/chocolates in the rooms on the hospitality tray. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with superb views over the sea.

Garry did everything he could to - The staff were extremely helpful to me and my small children. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the children feel special over and beyond the call of duty. The hotel was clean and well presented and excellent value for money. Being a single parent with two small children I find that most hotels leave us to our own devices which can be a little daunting. Gary was very helpful and totally understood the need to accommodate needs of guests like myself.
