  Had a really nice stay. Staff were excellent and could not have been more helpfull from the moment i pulled my car up to the moment i checked out. The hotel has a private car park at the rear which is free for guests to use. We had avery comfortable ensuite deluxe room on the second floor with a greatshower, nice linens, and beautiful views of the countryside and CamberCastle. Why is that so unusual? - This was our second stay at The Ship Inn. We had previously stayed there in 2011 a few months before we got married this time, we wanted to have a little holiday in Rye before our baby arrived. We enjoyed our stay so much that it brought on early labour! But we had enough time to have the delicious breakfast they provide and managed to check out, drive back to London and have our beautiful baby boy the next day.
