I don't stay at many guest house/B&Bs these days due to new family but if this sector of British holiday History slips into extinction I hope The Ashmount is the last one to survive. It was mint clean with wonderful staff.
very clean and comfortable. owners very friendly and helpful. we only stayed 1 night but would gladly book again for longer.

Maybe the shower head but even that was fully fit for purpose and brings a smile to anyone over 40. The reception carpet looked brand new but if it is original i'm sure someone will pay a lot of money for it.

Room a bit outdated, however still very good value for the price.
