The owners John and Jill were very friendly, and John who had lived in Salisbury all his life had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area. which demonstrated on our tour of the city with him.

The host was really welcoming and showed us around our room which was lovely, airy and clean with a HUGE bed. It isn't a traditional B&B as there is a small kitchenette provided with an array of teas and coffees and a fridge with sausages, bacon, eggs, yoghurts, orange juice and milk for your breakfast (included with the price of the room). There was also lots of cereals, jams and biscuits. My partner and I loved this set

The owner was pleasant and helpful (allowed me to leave my backpack after checkout time on my last day, since I had an evening train). I also appreciated the addition of a teapot to the usual teamaking facilities. - This is a lovely little hotel with a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Terry is a friendly and polite host who cares for his guests very much (for example: offers an umbrella when it rains). Both my room and the bathroom were spotless clean. I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lodge very much, and I will recommend this hotel to my friends. Also, I would love to stay there again next time, if possible...

  This is my third stop at SW. I stay here because its location is within easy reach of the main town and bus routes to other parts of the whole area. I also stay here because the house is very clean, the deco is chic, comfortable, free wifi/sky and big fluffy dressing gowns while you stay. Sara is both very friendly and professional at her job.
