Staff were nice and friendly. I arrived extremely tired. When I asked
about dinner, the options were explained to me and then the
receptionist said I could have dinner in my room if I preferred, which
sounded great. Food was good quality, if a little small in portion size
and quite expensive. I also took part in an all day conference the next
day. The food was very tasty then too. Breakfast buffet was

This has to be one of the best values for family lodging in the Loch Lommond area!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the self catering cottage. With 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single upstairs and another downstairs with a bunk bed set, this cottage easily accommodates a family or group of 5 people. My mum and I went to surprise relatives who were on a tour from Nuneaton. Staff participated in the surprise and we had a lovely evening/night at the hotel.
The hotel is very old however, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was.
We had a bar meal which was plentiful and good value. Breakfast was excellent.

Privacy to chalet and car parking at the door. Chosen as dog made welcome and access for exercise easy. Good freshly cooked food, good portions including an excellent choice for breakfast. Bed comfortable, en.suite and facilities for hot drinks. Have used again and will do so in future for one night stop over. We found the staff to be very helpful and the open fire in main building was a welcome sight in the cold weather.
