The area is great for country pursuits like fishing cycling and walking but is a fair drive for the main attractions in wales however it's fairly centrally located so you could cover a few attractions using kilsby as a base.

Conveniently located in the middle of Crickhowell (obvious once you spot it, but I managed to drive past it twice), with plenty of parking space through the old coach archway. The staff were friendly and the welcome was warm. For an old building, the decoration is spot on and the attention to detail is impressive. We ate in the bar both evenings and had wonderful food. It was busy, but had a nice atmosphere. The breakfasts were very good too. I'd highly recommend to anyone staying in this part of Wales.
