The breakfast was gorgeous, fresh farm eggs and anything that you could have wished for including fresh figs. The honesty bar is a good idea and the lounge perfect for sitting in at the end of the day to relax.

  Everything! We truly felt that we were invited guests. From the moment we arrived Barry did everything he could, and then some, to ensure we were welcome. The personal welcome note, to the fire in the library with cocktails allowed us to unwind from our travels. The house is beautiful and set in lovely grounds which are well worth a walk around. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The staff and owners were friendly and curteous. Every moment I was there I felt welcome and also that my satisfaction was the priority. Goldsborough Hall provides the country manor stay that you think you can only dream of.   As sooon as you walked in, you felt as if you were walking into somebody's home. There was a lovely fire in the grate and it just felt very welcoming. The lady on reception was welcoming and once we had been shown to our room, you just knew the time spent at the hotel would be enjoyable. The whole hotel was a pleasure, from: the log fire and comfy sofas to mulled wine on tap in the bar, really friendly staff to the warmth and atmosphere throughout, and from some of the most delicious food we've ever tasted to the comfiest hotel bed we've slept in - absolutely wonderful!
