  the hotelhad a nice feel about it, peaceful and calm, the food was excellent and the staff were very professional but at the same time welcoming and friendly - We had a lovely stay at this historical hotel for our friend's birthday.   We've stayed at Chalon Court a number of times (under its old name) as we have family in St Helens. The hotel is in a great location near the town centre and is the first hotel we check availability for when we go to the area. Its strength is its staff, who we've always found more than helpful, welcoming and polite. On a previous occassion we ha... 别人怎么说 » d the need to stay with our two week year old and they couldn't do enough to help us. The rooms have definitely improved with its latest facelift and - Friendly, efficient, polite staff. Arrived after a long drive with young baby to a smiling face & cheery receptionist made all the difference. My 2 year old loved chatting away to everyone. Facilities were excellent & spotlessly clean as was our room which had plenty room even with an extra bed in. Breakfast was also delicious & bar & meals were not over priced for once in a hotel however equally as delicious! Already planning our next visit!
