  This is a super hotel. Our suite was large, airy and well appointed. Facilities (swimming pool, gym etc.) were great - clean, modern and in tip-top condition, with good opening hours (from early ' til late). Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet extensive in terms of choice and very good.   My wife and I stayed for two nights and for dining in the restaurant for one night we were given a free upgrade to a large double room with sea view - which was magnificent. The hotel food was superb as was the service from checking in to the express check-out. Use of the car park was free which was also an added bonus.   Stayed at the Umi Brighton for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very nice breakfast which was included in the excellent rate.
