The three rooms taken by our party were excellent, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable and spacious. The reception areas, lounges and card room were likewise spacious and well-furnished. Real fires in the early Autumn give a special welcome. The staff were anxious to please and very pleasant at all times.The meals were very good with quality ingredients.

  We stayed in the new Silver Suite - it was extremely comfortable with a most beautiful view across the water. Needless to say, but the food was magnificently presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were exceptionally courteous and delightfully friendly. You felt you were staying with friends.   Booked through letsbookhotel.com but on arrival we found out that letsbookhotel.com did not forward our details and therefore found that there were no rooms available.
