The staff is very helpful and really nice and friendly, which it made our stay even better. The location is quite good you are just 10/15 minutes from the beach by walk. We stayed in a twin room and it was clean and tidy. The breakfast was also good and having a pub just in the hotel makes things more simple when you don´t want to go far for a drink. I loved it. Good rooms, friendly attentive staff. Good selection of ales. Arrived in time for the Beer festival weekend. (magic). Ample parking, On main bus routes. Good breakfast choice. We had a fanstastic 4 days stay 4th - 8th sept.
所有评语 » Staff exceptionally friendly. Both the owner and two bar staff very chatty and helpful. Rooms were decent size and clean and nice breakfast. Pleasant stay and would use this hotel again if in area. We used this as a stopover on our way back to Germany from the Lakes. Very friendly and helpful staff, with excellent English breakfast. Room was large and tidy and lived up to expectations. Good selection of beers & Lagers. Excellent coffee. Good breakfast choices, well prepared and swiftly served. Clean and well decorated rooms with adequate facilities for a short break. room was lovely clean and everything was there that we needed. Breakfast was included in the price and the whole stay was excellent value for money. W definately come back!. The breakfast was excellent. The Live Music in the bar in the evening was very good. Great latte's! Staff very friendly. Room was spotless - very impressed. staff were wonderful and made my sister's 70th birthday party special. They couldn't do enough for us.We loved the breakfast, it was wonderfully hot!!. Friendly welcome (early check in) pleasant breakfast & very convenient for function at St Augustine's just up the road. Arrived late, but owner very helpful we had a disabled person with us and he immediately put her at ease. Room was lovely , breakfast was great . Staff were good too, so over all a good stay Thanks. Nothing about hotel. Location is only minus as it is a longish walk/cab to any beach and Margate town centre. Cabs only £3.50-4.00 and staff will book for you. Can be a little noisy until the bar closes at about midnight! But this was expected with it being a pub/hotel. Tight car parking, but adequate for location and number of guests. Juke box a bit noisey if you aim to get to bed early, so stay up and enjoy!. The loud music from the bar the whole day so you could not relax in your room at all. The tv was not tuned properly so no bbc channels. Cloud wifi - rubbish!!!. nothing!!!. Thin walls and family in next door room making noise from 6:45 am!. Stairs were our only problem and not the hotels. Can be noisy if you get a room at the road front. The noise upstairs. Everyone could hear everyone in other rooms moving around and talking. A longer walk from Margate railway station than we anticipated, but on a bus route. Arrived early afternoon to leave for wedding reception early evening, was told that food would be available from 17.30pm, when we asked at bar for food we were told that none was available. Unable to get a evening meal. There was a party going on in the Pub below, which could have kept us awake if it were not for the fact that we had tired ourselves out durring the day. nothing. Not enough seating room in the bar. i didn't like the fact that i thought i had prepaid but was presented with a bill, this should be made clearer. The only downside was the mattress had seen better days and was really uncomfortable. Needs replacing. The mattress was rock hard and the bed frame was noisy (creaky, metal on metal noises). Could have benefitted from a comfy chair or two in the bedroom. Don't stay on a night with entertainment if you like to go to bed early, fortunately, we don't go to bed early!. Noise from pub on ground floor was terrible - room trembled. Stopped only around 11:00 pm. We were not informed about this and only discovered the problem when returning to the room around 8 pm. Price of £100 was way too much considering the circumstances. The kettle didn't work, requested a new one which never arrived. I need my coffee. :) The widescreen tv was a very small widescreen tv. Bedroom was very very dusty. Hallway particuarly smelt of chips wafting from the pub kitchen. Bed matress was a very cheap quality. Party was going on until 11pm with ver very very loud music playing- we were not made aware of this at all at booking or checking in. Bathroom grouting was very dirty and black in areas.
