The staff were very friendly. The hotel was so close to the underground. The staff were so friendly and the service i like was great. we got clean towels everyday and and the room was comfortably. great for a short stay in the centre of london at such a good price which even included breakfast of coissant and toast juice and coffee.I was by myself and got a lovely little room at the top with a sloping wall, skylights with a view over Shepherds Bush and even a tiny little bathroom with a nice hot shower. Was very clean, very new and very cozy. Great little hotel.

Good location for the tube station.Location was excellent, staff were hospitable. staff great,. The hotel staff were really nice and very helpful. The tube station was 3 minutes walk away and only took 10 minutes to get to Oxford Circus. Easy to register and a key to both room and front door provided. Staff polite and helpful.Suited our purpose as a one night stop over but wouldn't wish to use for extended stay as too basic. I would better describe it as a BandB rather than a hotel. Cost per night was plenty for what it was. friendly staff. warmhearted. Location of amenities. The location was pretty important for a short, 1-day business trip. Beware that the cheap single rooms require walking up very narrow staircases. Also be aware of a 3% surcharge for paying by card rather than cash.The only thing i would complain about is the noise. you could hear everything. but i do think that was partly due to in considerate guest's. I would like to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room.Although room was booked and confirmed 7 weeks in advance, there was no vavancy on arrival. Had to wait 1 hour of valuable Saturday evening time before un-enthusiastic manager sent me walking (!!!) somewhere else. Its opposite the main train station which is being renovated. Made it difficult to get there and impossible to park. The hotel was advertised as having parking. It did not. The staff could offer us no alternative. we had to park on a meter, making our stay unnecessarily expensive and stressful.small bathroom. The en-suite bathroom was tiny and literally elbow to elbow, but the shower cubicle was bigger and the water was hot and powerful. There was free parking but it is 10 minutes away from the actual hotel and parked on someone's driveway.Room locks were rather worn and difficult to operate. No in room tea or coffee facility. Bathroom was very poor. Poor staff, not really helpful. Tiny room, especially considering that this was a double. Also tiny "bathroom", essentially felt like being trapped in a closet.I was awake by noise of rat or mouse in the wall. I received the worse reception ever. The manager wanted to add an extra 3% because I was paying with my debit card. Worst experience ever. everything was dirty. i rbooked a double room with one bad but unfortunately i received 2 bad. badsheet was torned.
