Rick and Kath are delightful hosts. We arrived after a nightmare journey - Rick was on the doorstep to welcome us, carried our bags from the car, recommended a fabulous local Indian restaurant and ordered the taxi to take us there! Unbelievably peaceful weekend break, especially given that we were but a few minutes' walk from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Lovely, clean room and superb breakfasts.

The friendly, efficient service of the proprietor and staff and the cleanliness of everything we encountered. We also liked the interior design and the furnishings. The friendliness, cleanliness and overall quality of the hotel as Grant and Maria have spent a lot of time renovating the hotel, they were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was also very good and set you up perfectly for the day ahead. We had a nice room on the 2nd floor, nicely decorated & a great shower. The bed was reasonably comfortable. This hotel does not provide breakfast, as advertised, no problem, there is an excellent Cafe on the opposite corner (Walkers Cafe in Stow St), that provides an excellent full English for ₤3.90. Hotel is close to the beach and attractions! We managed to get free parking outside. The cost for this hotel is very reasonable.
