Great location, wonderful owners who are possibly the nicest people you could ever meet! They could not do enough for you to ensure you enjoyed your stay. It's hard to decide when you find an absolutely splendid Guest House, whether to share it with others or keep it to yourself. This applies without reservation to The Cliffbury. It cannot be faulted and although I'm risking my chances of finding a vacancy next time I book, it's a chance worth taking if other establishments are encouraged to up their game to this standard of cleanliness, comfort, cuisine (albeit just breakfast - I'm hoping an evening meal option could be added) and politeness.

The proprietor was welcoming, helpful and professional. His staff were similarly polite and professional. The room was clean, tidy and welcoming and was thoroughly cleaned each day while I was out at conference. The cooked breakfasts were outstanding. A really nice, pleasant base for attending the Labour Party Conference at Venue Cymru. I hope to take my wife back in June for her birthday. I was able to park on the forecourt which was really helpful and saved me endless problems.
