  Where to start ? We arrived at what must have been an annoyingly early time - right on Brekky time (not planned!), but Gareth never missed a beat and managed to serve breakfasts, check out other guests and still treat us in a timely manner as if there were no other issues going on :) In 5 minutes he had told us all we needed to know, took our ca... 别人怎么说 » se for placement in our room and we started exploring Edinburgh - well armed with info and feeling confident. The room when we arrived back was simp - Gareth was an excellent, charming and affable host. The room - 4- was very comfortable and tastefully furnished.(the 'detached' en suite was managed very well and we appreciated the robes) I have a thing about white cotton sheets and towels and Fraoch House gets first prize! Excellent! My cooked breakfast of smoked salmon, cream chees and bagel was delicious! Just right :-) My husband went for the full Scottish and he was equally pleased. All the other usual breakfast fare very well presented

  It is a little way out from the very centre, but a straightforward walk from the Guest house (takes 20mins) and there are loads of buses for £2.50 for a full day as many journeys as you like you can't really complain!
