  The hotel is dated, but in a very authentic, cultural type of way. We had the executive suit (Lamond) which we were surprised at in its size, comfort and cleanliness. I've never had a hotel with a Spa bath! The staff were exceptionally friendly (not unusual for Scotland though) and the breakfast was yummy - diet went out the window!   Reception staff very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Early check-in arranged over the phone the day before with no problems. Warned on arrival of potential boisterous football supporters staying, but heard nothing during the night.
