  The owner of the b&b was really nice, available and made us feel at ease soon. He is also a good cook, we had home made bread (he did it) for breakfast and it was very good. The en-suite room was very nice, confortable and perfectly clean, with anything you need inside.   We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Garden Suite self catering unit at Hawthorne Cottages (May 5-6) so much that the one rainy day we were there, we just relaxed, read and enjoyed watching the field of sheep outside our front window! Owners are very friendly, breakfast in their house was great. Plenty of tips to go and explore the country. Close to the beach, 15 min walk. Close to Oban, 10 miles, 15 min drive.

  Much has been written about Ardtorna already, and when we arrived the welcoming and gracious owners had just returned from picking up another "best of..." award. We only stayed one night, but it was our best night's sleep in Scotland, which speaks for the bed and bedding. The view was beatiful, and all rooms have it. This is a place to come for a few days to relax and enjoy the surrounding area - - A very luxurious location with outstanding views. Karen And Sean make you very welcome and nothing is too much in helping you enjoy you enjoy stay.Accommodation is excellent and great attention to detail has been made in providing great comfort in the bed, bath linen and room standards. The breakfast offer is amazing with 15 options, all of which are well thought through and mouth watering. A fantastic bed and breakfast and worthy of its 5 star rating and award winning food award.
